American Power Group Corporation and VFG Energy Leasing and Finance Announce a New Leasing Program for APG Dual Fuel Conversions

American Power Group Corporation

Over $18 Million of Natural Gas Related Transactions Funded by VFG in Calendar 2013

LYNNFIELD, MA--(Marketwired - Feb 10, 2014) - American Power Group Corporation (OTCQBAPGI)today announced a new leasing program for APG dual fuel conversions and related natural gas tank systems that will be offered by Vision Financial Group, Inc. through its specialty unit VFG Energy Leasing and Finance ("VFG") of Pittsburgh, PA.
Lyle Jensen, American Power Group Corporation's Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Many fleet owners interested in natural gas conversions of their existing fleets have found it challenging to obtain traditional bank financing for alternative fuel add-on systems for their diesel trucks. We are excited that VFG has seen the value of APG's dual fuel technology and are willing to provide financing terms with and without a perfected security interest on the entire vehicle chassis. This is critical for many of the fleet operators we've spoken to who are looking to convert multiple units at a time. We believe our ability to offer fleet customers with a viable financing solution will provide them with a path to convert a larger percent of their fleet sooner rather than later."
Mr. Jensen added, "APG's vehicular conversion technology is generating customer validated net monthly fuel savings of $1,000 to $1,800 per month depending on the miles driven and cost of fuel. While each customer's circumstance will differ, we believe that after lease related costs, a fleet owner can see his take-home income increase by $200 to $1,000 per month. We know of no other truck-related technology that can create that kind of incremental savings and income."

Interesting things to know about the APG dual fuel system

American Power Group
Here is the cool stuff

APG's dual fuel system converts diesel engines and diesel generators to function more efficiently and at a lower operating cost (net fuel cost savings of 25% - 35%) by seamlessly displacing 40%-70% of the normal diesel fuel consumption with CNG, LNG, or bio-methane. APG's system is non-invasive to the OEM engine and operates within all OEM performance controls with the flexibility to return to 100% diesel operation at any time. APG's dual fuel conversion and emissions reduction systems can help users achieve their sustainability goals through lower carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, and particulate matter emissions. In addition, the introduction of natural gas through APG's dual fuel system does not impact diesel engine power or pulling torque and will assist in extending the engine's oil life as natural gas is a cleaner burning fuel compared to diesel.

About American Power Group CorporationAmerican Power Group's alternative energy subsidiary, American Power Group, Inc., provides a cost-effective patented Turbocharged Natural Gas™ conversion technology for vehicular, stationary and off-road mobile diesel engines. American Power Group's dual fuel technology is a unique non-invasive energy enhancement system that converts existing diesel engines into more efficient and environmentally friendly engines that have the flexibility to run on: (1) diesel fuel and liquefied natural gas; (2) diesel fuel and compressed natural gas; (3) diesel fuel and pipeline or well-head gas; and (4) diesel fuel and bio-methane, with the flexibility to return to 100% diesel fuel operation at any time. The proprietary technology seamlessly displaces up to 80% of the normal diesel fuel consumption with the average displacement ranging from 40% to 65%. The energized fuel balance is maintained with a proprietary read-only electronic controller system ensuring the engines operate at original equipment manufacturers' specified temperatures and pressures. Installation on a wide variety of engine models and end-market applications require no engine modifications unlike the more expensive invasive fuel-injected systems in the market. See additional information at:www.americanpowergroupinc.com.

American Power Group receives follow up order worth 500,000 from Oil and Gas drilling companies

More god news for American Power group (APGI).
The orders are for the upgrade and conversion of additional diesel generators on drilling rigs for operation using APG's Turbocharged Natural Gas(TM) Dual Fuel System. SourceOne Engine Equipment, LLC, our domestic Dealer/Certified Installer booked the orders. While the end customers were not disclosed for proprietary reasons, a recent industry survey ranked these three companies among the top 50 oil and gas exploration and drilling companies in the United States.
Lyle Jensen, CEO of American Power Group stated, "Currently more than 20 of the top oil and gas exploration companies in the United States are running APG's Turbocharged Natural Gas(TM) Dual Fuel System on their drilling rigs with over 75% of those running multiple dual fuel powered drilling rigs. During April, we invoiced a record $1 million in oil and gas related revenue based on previously announced and new orders." Mr. Jensen added, "At a time when global diesel prices continue to escalate, the ability for oil rig operators to use our dual fuel technology with either inexpensive well-head gas or plentiful domestic natural gas as a supplemental fuel provides a significant competitive advantage over operators running on 100% diesel fuel."

Big News for American Power Group

The APG system is a cost-effective and non-invasive patented turbocharged natural gas dual fuel conversion technology for trucks, stationary generators and off-road mobile diesel engines. The APG system offers a 300-800 mile dual fuel range with no loss of power and torque and, depending on the route profile, delivers an average annual net fuel savings of 15%-30% over 100% diesel fuel. With no practical design limits for engine models or horsepower, the APG system is currently EPA-approved for 88 engine families and is expected to receive EPA approval for more than 200 additional engine families by the end of 2013. The APG system offers the flexibility to return the vehicle to 100% diesel operation at any time. At end-of-life or vehicular rotation, the APG system and natural gas tank can be easily removed and installed on another EPA approved engine.
The WheelTime Network is North America's highest quality truck service network. Its 18 member companies provide installation and warranty support through nearly 200 service centers, 2,800 service bays, 3,000 factory-trained technicians and 30 training facilities located across the United States and Canada.
"We see natural gas as an important and necessary development in our industry. Accordingly, WheelTime made a strategic decision earlier this year to begin taking the necessary steps to become a center of excellence for the installation and service of natural gas engines," said Mike Delaney, President and CEO of WheelTime Network LLC.
Delaney added: "In addition to dedicated natural gas engines, we believe diesel engine dual fuel conversions will be an evolutionary step for natural gas, providing a low risk way for fleets to get the benefit of natural gas fuel savings and giving existing equipment new life."
